Anxiety and feeling anxoius.
Understanding anxiety:
Most of us experience some degree of stressful and anxious moments in our lives. When these levels become too high it can affect our quality of life and ultimately the way we perform. How you feel is your perception to what is going on around you. What may be intolerable for one person may be acceptable to another. It is important to recognise our own response towards a stressful situation and if required develop some new skills to deal with it.
Symptoms of anxiety:
- Feeling worried all the time
- Tiredness
- Irritability
- Unable to sleep
- Difficulty concentrating
- Racing heartbeat
- Sweating
- Muscle tension and pains
- Shaking
- Breathing heavily
- Feeling dizzy or faint
Effects of anxiety:
In some cases the feelings of anxiety may become so extreme that it leads to panic attack. The individual may find that they worry just about everything including family life, money, redundancy, bereavement, relationships, school or work situations. This can have a disruptive and negative effect of their life and so create a feeling that everything could go wrong. Thus finding it difficult to just let go and relax as they will find themselves analysing and worrying about everything, leaving them feeling tired, irritable and unable to settle.

What can we do to deal with the unwanted feelings of anxiety?
Hypnotherapy is an excellent tool to use to help deal with anxiety and there are two types of therapy that can be used suggestion therapy and hypno-analysis. Using suggestion therapy positive suggestions and visualisation skills can allow you to help reframe these thoughts and emotions with the aid of hypnotherapy, so you can start to be more in control of your thoughts and feelings.
If though the problem continues to persist then Hypno-analysis (Analytical Hypnotherapy) is also a very effective therapy in treating the problem. Once the bottled up emotions that cause the anxiety are released then the symptoms can cease to be, allowing you to be free from your past thoughts and feelings.
Another successful way to deal people’s problems is to use the changing limiting beliefs (CLB) course.
This is more of a training course of understanding yourself better so that you can change those old unwanted thoughts, habits and negative feelings, into becoming much more positive, focused in control and empowered. Link to Changing limiting beliefs course
